RomeLOVE is a project about my city, which I started in 1993 and its in progress till now. I entrusted my eyes to the automatism of different Polaroid and Fuji cameras available, with which I intended to record the flow of constantly changing urban life. Over the yers my attention was often caught by a new multiethnic humanity and by the aesthetic transformation of the city caused by this presence. I took many pictures at the night-time or dusk, during my children’s early years, when I had to wait my husband’s return from work before getting out. Today II love focus on parks, rail stations and Via Consulares, especially on August, when the city seems deserted. These Photographs are my exotic holidays, my free time, my declaration of love in Rome.
